I bought a can of the basting spray but haven't used it yet. I was told it smells bad and I'm not sure I want to spray it in an enclosed room!
I love the bright colors in your quilt top!Lynnehttp://sewingmom.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-63614181633178232882010-03-11T16:21:43.237-05:002010-03-11T16:21:43.237-05:00Basting is the worst!!! I used to belong to a group of girls called the "Masterbasters" and we would get together to baste each others quilts. It helps to have many hands for such an awful chore.

And you already know how I feel about machine quilting. Ugh. Too much fabric wrestling.Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07042143254001890567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-46839386310704270762010-03-11T16:18:11.126-05:002010-03-11T16:18:11.126-05:00I have a kneeling pad we use mostly for gardening....I have a kneeling pad we use mostly for gardening. It is the green slab in the second photo. But there is no solution for the bending over which kills my back.zizzybobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13403877439136666073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-27456758274793222832010-03-11T16:06:31.251-05:002010-03-11T16:06:31.251-05:00I have a solution for your sore knees. Both work great, however, the knee pads from Home Depot slide across the floor better when you are moving from section to section while basting your quilt.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-16148292282017573462010-03-11T14:30:48.280-05:002010-03-11T14:30:48.280-05:00First of all that's a really pretty quilt. It used to be so easy but the older I get the hard it is to get back up from way down there.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12886333496997952719noreply@blogger.com
