Good for you that you gave them the quilts! It's not only good for the babies but for the staff and for the parents to see their child sleeping in something homemade from the heart.

Best wishes,
Anna
(Mother of a preemie.)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17926688000745346961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-11123577638150054082010-06-05T18:20:14.495-04:002010-06-05T18:20:14.495-04:00Seeing how they are used is so helpful. But they like them bright and cheery and specifically in one color (blues, pinks, greens, yellows)--so that families can identify where "their" baby is!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02930975280752577392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-86513775868453586012010-06-04T20:49:36.541-04:002010-06-04T20:49:36.541-04:00Oh, that was great that you got to see the quilts ...Oh, that was great that you got to see the quilts being used and loved. I know how I feel about the quilts I make--they are a LOT Of work and a LOT of money going into them, but most people don't have respect for them.

I once confronted a family on the beach for using a hand-stitched quilt as their beach blanket. I'm sure they thought I was weird, but I pointed out what work went into it and it shouldn't be in the sand. They said they found it in the cottage they were renting. I was aghast. My husband told me I can't do that anymore. :(Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07042143254001890567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-54789626063342827642010-06-04T18:49:51.865-04:002010-06-04T18:49:51.865-04:00Had me worried there for a second. With all the work you put in to those it would be a shame to have them sitting in someones trunk getting moldy.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12886333496997952719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6958622144361863320.post-70654477783163079702010-06-04T17:01:25.156-04:002010-06-04T17:01:25.156-04:00That's wonderful Barbara!
