I thought it would be getting easier but I am still having trouble with applique. I am just not happy with my own work and it took me the whole weekend to do this much. (You can use the link on the right for the free pattern)
On a better note, I went to Joanns and purchased a 25 yard bolt of white muslin. It was on sale for $1.49 yard and I am always running out.

ooough I la,la,LOVE your soft background fabric! I'm looking forward to learning applique at the COF retraet in April and have been saving these BOMs.
you mentioned buying a bold of muslin - me too! my first :) I learned that KONA makes different grades of muslin... I used my 50% off coupon for my bolt. I didn't get teh best grade that felt like budda but I did get a good one ;) and it was soft too. ;)
