It was March of last year when I got the bright idea to cover my
ironing board with dark brown fabric. I thought it would be better than a light color as it would not show the burn marks. So here is what it looks like today.
With the exception of some fusible web slopped on the edge, I think dark brown was a good choice.

Looks good -- I love my ironing board cover but it's got a couple scorch marks. I'm not ready for a new one yet but maybe I should look for another one so I'll have it when I need it.
That was a very good choice. You should see what my ironing board looks like....nasty
I found a reversable ironing board cover at Walmart. I'm on the second side now, but that turned out to be a good investment-has lasted way longer that the old single side ones!
