This weeks edition of Around the Block has been called on account of rain. Hopefully it will not be raining tomorrow morning.
So in the meantime, I'll show you, what else, some new bowls. It's taken me 6 trys but I finally got the shape I have been attempting to make all week. I got some great beads online from Jerri , some of which are hand sewn around the covered rope embellishment. BTW, I got a great, unsolicited, revue of my blog and etsy shop from Jerri. Maybe that stupid blog grader doesn't know what it's talking about.
What do you when when you have some matching variegated thread and eyelash yarn?

I really enjoyed your blog. I have tons of yarn left over from when I used to knit, but I moved to FL and there is not a big need for scarfs... I wish I could make one of those bowls. So pretty!!
That second one is super cool! What a great idea!
You are doing great with your bowl making! I love how you use recycled shirts and stuff too, but that eyelash yarn idea - super!!! I have bits and pieces of left-over eyelash that is too short for anything (why oh why do I save everything!), but you have just given me a perfect use for them.
Cheers! Evelyn
