I have been busy in my studio. I made 6 blocks for the August Block Lotto.I am still having fun with bowl making. I think they are getting better as I go along. This one was made from a recycled mans plaid shirt.
This one was made from a green and pink batik. Both bowls are for sale in my etsy shop.

I love these bowls! I've wanted to make these for years, but I really think that I need a different skill set. You've got great colors in these two.
I think your thrift shops must have many more colorful shirts than ours. I'm mad about that plaid!
Your bowls are just wonderful! It's very interesting to read what the original print or pattern was..then to see it transformed in the construction.
