It's done, and didn't take very long at all. I decided to use the rusted muslin I made some time ago. (You can see it here).
I am pleased with the results and can see more of these being made with appliques and beads and do dads and what nots. Maybe I'll make some for Christmas gifts, maybe I'll make some to sell. Most likely I'll get lazy and not make any more.
