It costs What?

It's very rare that I buy a quilt pattern. Usually, I make a quilt from a standard block, like a Log Cabin or Friendship Star which needs no instructions. But every now and then, there is a pattern that strikes my fancy and I just have to have it.
There are only a small number of designers whose patterns I love and I try to keep up with them to see what's new. I just left one of those designers blogs and she showed her latest quilt. I love it, I want it, I have got to have it ..... it costs how much? $154.00 for the pattern only. I don't think so, I don't love it that much. I thought $54.00 was a bit steep for another pattern by another designer, so I past that one up too. Am I still living in the 90's or is the price of things getting out of hand?

WHOA, $154 for a pattern? That's crazy. I even think the $54 one is too high. No matter how much I loved it there's no way I could ever see myself paying that kind of money for a pattern. But then again, I am known for being ultra cheap :)

I think that's pretty ridiculous, but I'm an old fossil.

I'm thinking like $8 unless there are lots of templates, then maybe...MAYBE $12. Who's pattern costs $154???? Is it made out of gold?

Wow! And I snorted when I saw some for $10 the other day. It's crazy.

No, things are starting to get real out of hand! Have you checked the price of yarn lately?! Sheesh!
