New Designs in the Shop

Christmas usually brings an increase in sales, but it didn't do anything for my shop. So, I'm back to making things I think will sell. Here is a new set of 6 blocks. They are small (6x6 finished) but I think they are pretty cute. I will be trying different types of fabrics. Maybe some shabby chic, maybe some 30's and definitely some Easter fabrics. Anyone have any suggestions?

Bah-Humbug

Yeah, you heard me, I said it, Bah-Humbug. Every year I spend hours making tons of cookies and give them out to friends and family. All I ask is that they return the tins. Do you think they do? Thanks goodness for the dollar stores.
Every year I send out tons of Christmas cards. How many do I get in return? Not many at all.
Every year, my husband and I schlep out to the storage unit to get the tree and boxes of decorations. It takes me days to decorate, but does anyone other than my husband and I ever see my wonderland? You guessed it the answer is no.
So this year, I am relieving the stress. I'm eating all the cookies myself. No one gets to try the chocolate covered, candied orange rinds or pretzels. My Christmas card list has been limited to 20 cards. But best of all.....No decorating. That's right, oh sacrilege, no tree.
I am feeling so relaxed.

Where's George

I had heard about Where's George many, many years ago, but I never found any registered bills. I finally found one the other day and was quite excited to find it. I went to the Where's George site and entered the serial number. This bill has not gone very far. It was stamped and registered in Virginia. The "Georger" then visited South Florida where he put the bill into circulation. I'll follow the bill to see what exciting place it goes.

November Block Lotto

It's been a while since I made any Block Lotto Blocks. I've been quite lazy, not doing much of anything. So lazy, in fact, that instead of making the allowable 9 blocks, I only made 5.
