There was a lovely demonstration on how they make the batik. My husband took a short video, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to show it to you.
Of course, I couldn't leave without buying a few fat quarters....hey....I was on vacation... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I used to always stop in fabric stores when we were on vacation. I collected those fat quarters like souvenirs. Plus, we'd learn about the cool local stuff to do while I was talking to the employees.
