Block Lotto
It's been a while since I've played Block Lotto. I guess it's because I'm still not so crazy about free form, wonky blocks. This month's block is traditional in it's piecing, something I can relate to alot better. It's called African Violets in the Dark and is not at all difficult to make. Even though I really like black in a block, it's terrible to use. It is like a magnet and picks up every bit of thread and fuzz. For more information about Block Lotto you can click here.

Cattle Call
On a lark, I went to an open casting call for extras for the upcoming new series "Charlie's Angels". There I was, standing on line for over an hour amidst the beautiful young girls who showed up. The local newspaper was there interviewing and taking photos. I don't think I'll get a call back, but I did make it to the end of this video. Don't blink or you might miss me.
