Time for a quick rant

I was tempted, I was really really tempted to start a blog called "Deadbeat Swappers". Yes, I'm on that kick again. When is the line crossed between being late and not sending an item at all?

I read alot of blogs and the other day I ran across a name I had heard before, a very unusual, distinctive name. The blogger went on and on about the wonderful stuff this women sells on her website, but I know her as a deadbeat.

It was the Art 2 Mail swap I was in last summer. I sent 24 cards out and expected 24 cards back. There were 3 people in that swap that just plain disappeared, never acknowledging receiving any cards and never sending any out.

So, I visited this lady's beautiful website and enjoyed all the lovely fibers she has for sale and then I sent her an email. Oh yes I did! I quite simply asked what her intentions were. And her reply.....nada, zip, nothing, not even a kiss my grits!

So somebody stop me, 'cause I really, really want to publish her name along with all the other swappers who have not lived up to their obligations.

I hate it when a blog has no pictures.................................

I know how you feel but I decided a long time ago that I had to let stuff like that drop. It was making me too crabby and for no good reason. I decided to believe that the people that do not follow through had some sort of personal issue and that they needed to receive my cheer to help them through the day! That made me more accepting and had I had less headaches.

Whoa Nellie!! I feel your pain but putting their names out there really won't make you feel better and won't fix the problem. Not worth it. I understand, though. I've also noticed a trend to not only be late, but to not send things back AT ALL. I wonder if it is in response to more people stepping up and calling them on being late. Rather than do the right thing, they just take the fabric and run. Just shameful!
