Too Cute Two

I thought I had a few more weeks to finish the hand quilting on the baby quilt for my neighbor. But she had the baby two nights ago and came home yesterday. There is no way I could have finished that quilt in just a few hours so instead I made a basket and filled it with a few baby items I found in the supermarket and a gift certificate to purchase diapers. I decided that these baskets needed something so I am now adding a yo-yo flower to them. I just happened to have some ribbon that says 'It's a boy" so I added that too. I am really liking these baskets.

Barbara,
The basket is really awesome and I am sure she will love it. And the auilt, too, when you are finished.

B - that's great! We yakked about so many things last night that I forgot to ask if you want half yard cuts or yards.

What a great gift idea! The basket turned out so cute and I love the extra touch of the yo-yo flower and the ribbon.

Adorable. What a great way to use those neat little baskets...and yo-yos! I love making gifts for those expecting or those who just gave birth. My favorite projects indeed. Now I have a new idea for them. Thanks!

Was looking at this again and thought how nice that you declared this little one a blue ribbon baby.
