This & That

I just can't seem to focus on anything. This week I put the binding on some preemie quilts. This is not my favorite part of making a quilt.

I made some crumb blocks though I don't know why nor do I have any plans for them.

I made a bunch of these fun blocks, but I don't have any plans for these either.

I have wanted to remake this quilt in spring colors for quite some time. The bug has bitten me lately to start on it but I could not find the pattern. A few years ago, when we were remodeling the house, many of my quilt books went off to storage. The last time we were there (putting the Christmas ornaments back) I tried to find the book the pattern was in.My husband was rushing me, "let's get in and out as quick as possible". So yesterday I went to storage by myself (not something I have ever done before). I searched and searched but could not find the book with the pattern. There were some boxed way in the back. I climbed over stuff and started going thru the boxes. They were all pretty heavy, filled with junk that needs to be thrown out but I went thru them one by one. You guessed it, the book was in the box on the bottom. I no have no excuse.
