Christmas Tree Tour - Day 3

These are just a few or the ornaments I have made over a span of 30 years.

Some lions.

Some kitties, guess his whiskers have drooped over the years.

Some penguins.

I have made tons of these stockings .  I have sold several dozens and given away at least that many. They are a great way to give a gift card or fill with small items. I have several for sale at my etsy shop in a variety of colors and fabrics. Did you notice the room key down in the corner? I punch a hole in them and tie on a ribbon. My tree is all about memories.

I've tried several different types of angels over the years. These are the only two types that were ever worth keeping.

Back in 2005, I saw a show on HGTV about these glass ornaments and just had to try. Although my medium of choice is fabric, I tried my hand at painting. I poured the paint on the inside of the clear glass ball and sort of smeared it around. I finished them off by using a gold marker to outline the different colors on the outside of the ball. Everyone in my family got one of those that year.

I'm always experimenting with different designs. This Victorian fan didn't turn out too bad.

Those are wonderful, I love that lion. I used to have a tree full of home made ornaments but nothing quite as fancy as yours.

They are all so cute and I'm sure it makes decorating the tree even that much more special each year. Thank you for sharing them with us. Thank you for advertising on my blog today, too!

These are all beautiful and they mean so much when they come from your heart.
